Seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students in educational settings, providing essential therapy services to enhance their learning and daily functioning. This role involves traveling to various schools in the Leominster, MA area, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment for professionals comfortable with mobility and adaptable to different school cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring compliance with educational and clinical standards.
- Provide support and training to school staff on strategies to assist students with occupational challenges.
- Manage scheduling and travel between assigned school locations efficiently.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and certification.
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings.
